HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE LEAGUE & HANDICAPS

Following “THE GOLF RULES”, please submit at least 3 scorecards (54 holes) and must put scores into 18birdies APP. Fill out the sign up button on the home screen or send email to hobokengolfleague@gmail.com or message the hobokengolfleague instagram to get invited to the 18Birdies hoboken golf league in APP.
If you have someone in mind that you think would like to join you can refer them. New members must have played 1 round with a current member to verify their handicap.
After the 1st tournament everyone will be required to submit 5 total scores into 18 birdies.
There will be a max of a 25 handicap for the 1st tournament, the executive committee will adjust throughout the year if needed.
Handicaps will be monitored throughout the season to ensure no sandbagging. The Executive committee will implement new rules throughout the year if needed. Nobody should be scoring well below their handicap consistently.

All players must register for each event via a google form that will be on the website under the "schedule and scoring" tab.
The tournaments will be based on the amount of interest for each event.
It is first come first serve and payments will need to be made prior to holding your spot. $115-$175 is the general cost for each event.
On average the goal is to get 16 golfers.
Payments will be submitted to a Hoboken Golf League Venmo which will be shared to all.
Refunds will be given if rained out or we exceed the maximum number of players.
If you send a payment for an event and you cannot make it, you must find a replacement, no refunds.This is because these courses require upfront payment to hold these tee times.
